I'm all for US built parts and machines but since companies like John Deere source parts and tractors from all over the world then try to pass them off as 'American' I don't feel like I should be a sucker and pay crazy prices with their logo on the box for the same part that I can get off ebay for a fraction of the cost.I've bought and installed several of the Chinese made gear reduction starters for Olivers that cost a little over $100.So far no problems and they start the tractors better than the originals.
