What they are talking about is the size of the linkage on the three point hitch. Category one is for small tractors, up to about 40hp I think, Cat. 2 is 40-90hp or something like that, and cat. 3 is something like 90 and above. Cat. 4 is reserved for the largest of the large tractors. measure the holes in your three point hitch where the pins stick in and then call a dealer, they should be able to tell you. Have never heard of tractors being classed, just trucks.
