we get 3 to 4 cuttings of hay with 3 to 5 tons to the acre annually i can be off any time to bale and swath as i am on call 24/7 and if i want a day off the only way i get it is to take it and i do take it when i need it as far as stacking hay goes i would still have to hire the custom operator for the majority of the first year in my area small squares are going for 100-120$ a ton if it doesn't get rained on we have an average rainfall of around 16 inches and 2 of 4 cuttings got rained on even when i told him to cut on say friday and he said i'll be there first of the week he generaly shows on friday so there is rain in the forcast i know i am buying the equipment and going to give it a go i just am looking for suggestions as to makes and models i plan to spend 2000 on swather and 2000 on a baler or less . the MF12is a PARTS machine only shawn jones [email protected]
