First time I've heard of a problem because of the cold. We had it in all our over the road trucks when I retired. Got it now in our school buses where I drive. I have a new tier 4 kubota that has the regin on it but doesn't use the def fluid. I ground feed with it yesterday when it was close to zero out with no problem. Although I have no experience with any New Holland that are the tier 4.
The only problems I have seen is when you don't keep the rpms up when the motor is trying to regenerate. I did a manual regin on my kubota and it automatically increase the rpms to about 2100 while it went through the process while parked. If it reginerats while working it a light will come on until you increase the rpms enough.
