A gallon of LP has almost exactly half the energy contained in one gallon of gasoline.
Unless LP is cheap due to local surplus, reduced fuel or vehicle taxes it doesn't pay.
Often LP conversions are used just to allow vehicle operation in buildings to reduce emissions. If it's setup correctly that is.
The higher octane & fuel in vapour form can increase the thermal,mechanical & chemical energy converted to mechanical energy per BTU of energy in.
