Can't Start 8N

I'm new to the tractor game. I have a beautiful 8N that I've put about 20 hours on. But now I can't start it. I took the carb. apart and shook out whatever stuff was in it. But still can't get it to start. The battery is cranking (although I did run it down trying to start it). Any suggestions: I figure the problem has to be fuel related. Although someone did mention something about the air intake.
