Got a 64 4000, you can see the clutch pedal is the same as yours.
Used a piece of 3/8 x 4" to scoot the seat back, usually use 1/2" but I didn't have any on hand.
I'm not your height, but I'm 6'3" and weigh more than I care to admit. This helped a lot.
I did lose the parking brake rods when this got done, they were in the way, haven't figured out a fix for it yet.
This was my Grandpa's tractor, he did everything with it...hay and crops. Pretty much has the carryall on the back now, plows and discs the garden in the spring.
Hope this helps...those old Fords weren't made for tall guys.
