As long as you can drive it from the PTO at roughly the same speed it ran on the combine, and set it up so there won't be a lot of vibration & strain introduced to the drive shaft, it should work. Since I have no idea of the gpm it developed on the combine, I can't say if it will be sufficient to your purpose. A great source of hi volume hyd pumps is retired garbage trucks, those pumps are usually slow speed 550rpm and very high volume.
