We have had a 5500 watt running generator and use it to run the wood boiler, refrigerator, two freezers and the well pump during outages, all at the same time. The voltage will drop when one of the motors starts, but not for more than a few seconds. We don't have a dryer and don't use power tools or the microwave or plug in computers on the generator. I think you'll be fine with the load you have and the size of generator you bought. Zach
