I haul my MT to bush hog jobs that I deem too far to drive the tractor to. I ensure that the ramps are squared to and in contact at the feet to the ground. Center the tractor over the trailer axles. You want some tongue weight, as you drive on,watch the trailer tongue, as it passes down past the mid point, stop there. Chain each axle with binders (tight), angle each chain opposite of each other.On the MT's front, I just wrap the pedestal once. Custom to angle the back to the back and the front to the front. Set tractor brakes. Get a trailer with brakes. This is how I've been trailering, and it works so far.
