If I understand your post correctly, you should not be able to even lift anything. If the hyd pump will supply the pressure to lift the mower it should hold it up. If the lift fades down when you throttle down to turn, the hyd system needs rebuilding, perhaps not the pump, but the rest of it certainly does. MF dealers sell reprint repair manuals for your tractor detailing this rebuild. The parts suppliers listed here sell I&T manuals that cover your tractor also. It's not difficult to rebuild your hyd system, just oily and time consuming. Hope this helps some, Ray,IN
