Larry about 10 years ago I restored a Empire tractor for a friend of mine in Georgia. And when I say restored I don't mean I just cleaned it up and painted it. It took me almost 6 months to finish it. The only thing I didn't rebuild was the engine as it was in pretty good shape. Had to fab a new hood, fenders and grill shell out of sheet metal using the old ones for a pattern. All new bearings and seals in the transmission and rear drives. Motor and trans are Willys Jeep so those parts are not hard to find. New rubber and even had to rework the front wheels in order for them to look original. The rest of the parts if missing I just had to build myself. I also added a Monroe hyd. 3 point hitch to it. When I got done it turned out pretty nice and as far as I know it is still in his huge collection of tractors cars, trucks and trains. Maybe I can find some pictures of it one day. I don't have the ambition to take on a project like that today!
