,,Im almost out of magazines,,,lol

Haven't seen the Empire tractors during my searches....at least, not that I know of. Thanks Larry! Will be adding to the list of future Pics.

Did a web search and seems there were several models made.

You're out of magazines already? Boy, either you don't have many or they don't have much in them. ...Keep on posting! Those manufacturing photos in that article are awesome, and they don't come up on a tractor-specific search.

Neat magazines Larry I have so many tractor
magazines I look through a couple every night
never do get tired of looking at them

Well Larry you will be out in that garden harder this spring so the magazines will last longer. LOL

Thanks for posting this. I had not heard of an Empire tractor. Now I will have to do some digging.

JohnV2000,

Green Magazine, Heritage Iron, Classic Farm and Tractor magazine.sometime i subscribe to Two Cylinder, sometimes i let it lapse...depends on my mood for the year

Larry about 10 years ago I restored a Empire tractor for a friend of mine in Georgia. And when I say restored I don't mean I just cleaned it up and painted it. It took me
almost 6 months to finish it. The only thing I didn't rebuild was the engine as it was in pretty good shape. Had to fab a new hood, fenders and grill shell out of sheet
metal using the old ones for a pattern. All new bearings and seals in the transmission and rear drives. Motor and trans are Willys Jeep so those parts are not hard to
find. New rubber and even had to rework the front wheels in order for them to look original. The rest of the parts if missing I just had to build myself. I also added a
Monroe hyd. 3 point hitch to it. When I got done it turned out pretty nice and as far as I know it is still in his huge collection of tractors cars, trucks and trains.
Maybe I can find some pictures of it one day. I don't have the ambition to take on a project like that today!
