the last "clean out" on the farm gave me a surprise too, not only batteries but I'd an old catalytic converter of my 89 460 ford pu that had given up the ghost years ago and I got 85$ for it, wow! We used to have 5 cloth copper wires that went from the yard pole to the barn milk house, that was rolled up years ago, most of the cloth was off, but I got well over 100$ for that copper. We'd undergrounded the farm yard, so a lot of overhead wire. That was 2 years ago, but I got more for the batteries, electric motors, alum etc in the pick up bed then I received for my 24' goose piled with iron.... Well worth the time I guess is what I'm saying
