The A series with the checker board decal are definitely nice looking. We have one of those also it was my FIL's tractor. The throttle control and column on the A's came from the 770/880 setup, those tractors were still being made in 1960 when the 1800 came out. Once Oliver went to the B series with the tilt/telescopic column they had to redesign the throttle linkage. The dash on the tractor I am redoing has 6 gauges in it now, originally it only had 5. There was no Oil PSI gauge when it came from the factory, someone hacked up the gauge panel and put in a cheap gauge. I fixed it up and it will have all new Oliver style gauges in it.
