One thing that will bust your trolley. Had a battery open up one time. Did just what you are describing. Lites would come on but not quite full brightness. Took jumper cables from another tractor to this one and Bingo! Blow the horn and it would sound like a sick cow. Several months ago my 300U the starter wound just GROWWLLL. The bendix broke. Took it to the shop and had the guy rebuild it. He does VERY nice work.
