I had a tankless one in my shop and it flat out would not heat up cold well water in the winter. Only luke warm and took LOADs of amperage to work. Gave up and installed a small tank type an it works great for what your wanting. I think the one I have is a 4 gallon Bosch 110 volt heater. I gave around $130 for it several years ago. What I really like it only takes 12 amps of 110V electric. So most wall sockets will handle it. It is small enough it fit under the sink easily. Nice to have hot water only a few inches away from the faucet. So you have almost instant hot water to wash your hands with. Many times your only using maybe a quart or two of water to wash your hands.
