Pull type cutters use less hp than the same size mounted 3point models. 5' 30 hp 6' 40 hp 7' 50 hp 7' 30 hp pull type 8' 50 hp 8' 30 hp pull type 10' 60 hp 10' 50 hp pull type 12' 70 hp 12' 55 hp pull type The price you quoted does not seem outrageous. You could also consider John Deere, LandPride, Woods, and Rhino. I would stay away from a Howse, due to the fact that they seem to be sold new by auction companies at their consignment sales, and not by a real "dealer". There are a lot of older brands that are no longer in operation as well.
