I have a n american to-35 that is shutting off after it runs 30-40 minutes. I've replaced the coil, the points, and the condenser. I've put a new fuel filter on and the fuel lines are clear. The new coil becomes too hot to touch. After I let it sit for 30 seconds, it will fire back up, run for a while, and repeat the problem. With the nearness of the gas tank to the manifold I wonder if I'm getting a vapor lock. I've thought about making a baffle. Any suggestions., bush hogging is becoming a pain.
