My good friend has had one for about 8 years now. He plows snow with it, tills the garden, uses the bucket to haul firewood from the pile to the house, etc. Pulls the sweetcorn planter. Stuff like that.
A pretty good acerage tractor according to him. He's had no serious problems and a lot of parts are common auto store parts like belts and hoses. He's never had a mechanical issue that involved replacing parts only Jinma would have.
Pretty obvious the models sold by Northern Tool around here are intended to be homeowner acerage tractors and not commercial or ag machines. Using them as a 100 or so hour a year tractor and if kept shedded and well maintained, I don't see much wrong with them.
If cost was no object, obviously there are probably better supported brands out there. Especially if you are going to use for ag or commercial use.

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
