Years ago the Nortracs were Jinmas. Model Numbers like 204,254 & 304. I don't know who makes them now. Jinmas were sold under many different names. In my opinion, the owner should have some mechanical ability and an understanding of tractor design. The owner needs to be someone who can sense a pending problem through sound or feel before total failure. They are not trouble free, but are easy to fix. Parts are easy to get and resonantly economical compared to the big boys. I have a FarmPro 2420 and a 2425 (2004 vintage). Not uncommon to have to fix things, but they do the job I want. Especially for rotor tilling. With the 12 speed transmission, I can go as slow as 0.2 MPH at full throttle while tilling. Seems like many of the non-brand name tractors now are TYM tractors.
