We had an incident a couple of years ago here in central Michigan where a young man flashed his lights at a car to get him to dim the lights but it turned out the bright lights were on a deputy sheriff's car. The deputy sheriff pulled the young man over for giving the deputy his brights. A disagreement between the two ensued and the cop shot the young man dead. You can only imagine the turmoil that caused.
