This is a trajedy for the people and families involved just as with any accident. I've heard the comments that the operator was being ticketed for driving on a paved road; but was he? was it in fact destroying the surface? and for a mile(s)? I'd like to hear for sure the facts on just if or how he was knowingly causing damage to the road surface and or if the police were so oblivious/ignorant to the situation as to cause distraction to the operators. No matter the circumstances it did blow up. Everyone should take this terrible incident and it's causes as a future lesson to prevention and safety.
