Take it easy when the road is wet or slick coming out of a corner. You may end up going the opposite direction. Other than that, you won't get stuck near often, but when you do, you better have a plan to get help. We never had 4wd pick ups when I was growing up, just posi-trac and chains on the back in the winter. As long as you had enough weight, you could go almost anywhere. Not very fast, but still going. Dad got by one winter without a pick up. Just a 63 Chevy Biscayne station wagon with posi-trac.
