Not enough time during the week to reply to some posts, but I try to read most of them every day. In response to the post about battery life, here is the battery in my golf cart that was in it when I bought it 4 or 5 years ago. It sets most of the winter and I use a cheap battery maintainer from Harbor Freight on it. The battery in the LX 188 lawn mower says in was new in Nov 2012.
I have 2 Oliver 1850 diesels that use 2 6 volt batteries and I get 6 or 7 years out of the batteries before having to replace them. Anything that sets over a month gets a battery maintainer on it. Chris
