I still have my Flexible Flyer from Christmas probably 1959 0r 60. I remember Dad telling us to go out and look in the back of the truck. There were 3 new sleds for the younger boys. We used to take them to school to sled the hill at recess. We also had an excellent hill out in the pasture where we hosted many sledding parties. Had a lot of fun freezing our behinds off. We bought our boys Flexible Fliers in the mid 80's but by then they no longer had the chrome bumper. They were still the fastest sleds on the hill though.
