I just nailthe sides, and along the top, and a few along the seam across the roof, then along the end. I figure if a few nails do some good a lot of nails will do a lot of good.I didn't realize the new stuff was junk. Maybe from China. I have a roof with rolled roofing installed over 10 years ago. It is holding up good. I put 30 lb tar paper down first. I remember if you bought a roll of roofing back in the 50's, it came with a bag of nails, and a can of tar. I wonder when the companies stopped that practice? Stan
