Many sins were hidden in box trailers. I've seen more than one major accident when the "who's gonna know" trucker had to swerve of engage in some other unexpected maneuver that caused his load to not just shift but come right the side of the box. Had 5 or 6 of those giant rolls of news print wind up in a guys field that way one time.
Steel coils used to have their own tie down requirement section. That stuff can do a lot of damage if it decides to go for a walk.
I've seen quite a few guys hauling machinery on trailers and the even in the box of a heavy truck that found out that yeah, she IS going to go somewhere! For some reason people hauling skid steers seem to think that once they're shut off, no force on earth can move them. Physics says otherwise!
