I have a 1967 IH 656 diesel with the 282 engine. I've always used IH 30W oil. I'm out of this oil and would like to use something different as the nearest IH dealer is now over 50miles away. I use Mobil 5W-40 Turbo Diesel full synthetic in a 2008 New Holland compact. Would this be a good choice for my 656? If not, what would be, other than a specific IH brand? Thanks for any advice!
