Thought that some of you fellows that have put LED bulbs in you tractors might be able to give me some advice. Bought some SMD LED bulbs to replace the 1157s in the tail lights of my 1966 Impala. $1 each, on Ebay. Put the 1st one in, and it didn't light. Tried all ten that I had bought, and none lit. Contacted the seller, and was issued a refund, with no problem. Thinking the seller may have known they wouldn't work. Hooked one up to the car battery, with some jumper wires, and it lit! I have read that LEDs have to have the juice running through them in the correct direction. Could these have been constructed backwards?
