I've usually ordered any JD parts on-line, without asking anyone at the dealership. I get an e-mail confirmation, and whether or not any of the dealers within 50 miles or so have the needed part. A stock order is, most every time, ready for pickup in a couple of business days. I'm pretty happy with my local JD dealer. They've always been helpful. All of my equipment is older, 1020 tractor, 24T baler, 9W mower, model H spreader, etc.
