You got to do what you got to do so you can do what you like to do. I had to modify my tractor and lawn mower seats using a seat cushion I got off ebay. To keep cushion on seat, I placed it under a slip on cover. I bought a slip on cover for lawn mower.
I was lucky to find a monroe seat for my ford a few years ago. I'm almost 70 year old body can't stand jaring. 15 years ago two different Dr told me I needed spinal fusion. No way. So I do what I got to do so I can keep on going.
Modified all 4 of my tractors and most of my lawn mowers/garden tractors.
