So I had the Massey doing some heavy lifting for me (she doesn't like me straining my back). Went to restart--click. Then nothing.
No power to headlights or anything else that needed electricity.
I tested the battery. Good charge. But hold on---didn't others here say all connections needed to be shiny clean?
Took off the battery cables and put new ends on. Replaced the cable from starter to the solenoid as it looked like it was from the beginning of time. Wire-brushed all terminals and connections.
Not only does the tractor start right up, it actually starts BETTER than it did before. I've never had it so good
