I am a died in the wool bike rider. Every Wednesday in the summer is "bike ride day" for me and my two daughters. It keeps me in really good shape. I bought my bike with my own money when I was 14 years old. Schwinn Varsity 10 speed and I used to ride it on the roads AND I followed all the laws that cars followed. But I was not a car and I don't do that anymore and I do not support these people in their spandex outfits riding down the white line on a 55 mph highway. It endangers them and other people. There are roads everywhere that are much safer and a cross country ride zig zagging thru housing developments and such is much more interesting. ME? I stay on the paths at the park. 10-20 miles every week, once a week minimum.
