while it may be legal to ride a pedal bike on a paved highway, Personally, I think that is one of the stupidest things one can do. I would NEVER do that. Way to easy to die. I know a newspaper editor locally, he has been hit by cars, or has hit cars 3 times, first time, the driver got ticketed, 2nd time, no charges, third time, he got ticketed. This guy rides like a moron, in the middle of the lane, then when he comes to a stop sign or stop light, he will just blow thru, Why do we have to watch out for morons like him, yet he can ignore traffic law? The time he got ticketed, 3 other people watched him blow thru a stop light, and he actually hit the vehicle that was going thru a green light....
