consider yourselves lucky- here in greer we didnt get anything. last measurable rainfall was may 5. if no rain this week corn will miss. our pasture is dying. not to mention our yard. in paper today they said drought was "unprecedented in scope and severity", so it looks like we"re in this for the long haul. a few more weeks and they start banning water usage. at least it"s cooler-not 97 like last week. maybe jack roper will bring us some rain tomorrow.
