My previous supplier said they HAD to do a leak check on my system or they couldn't sell me any propane. (Insurance reasons) Their fee to check for leaks was $50, but was FREE to new customers. I chastised them because they are putting a higher emphases on new customers instead of their loyal customers who have been with them for years. They wouldn't budge. If they do find a simple leak, they wouldn't fix it. So I became a new customer to their competitor and got my system leak-checked for free. This supplier also said that if they had to check for system for leaks again, they would do it for free again. My previous supplier just lost a customer.
