A bit OT: propane price

Just wondering what is the going price for propane delivered for home use. My opinion is my long time supplier is way high. May be time for a new supplier. Thanks

"Summer fill" here in north central ND (which expired August 15th) was %$0.99 CASH though the local Co-op.

Gotta check what the current price is.

Just filled mine last week at $2.10 a gallon. The price here never goes down in the summer. It will just increase again this winter.

It is at the annual low point here in NH, $2.89/gal. The most expensive time to buy is usually in the spring.

The price will be going up. The corn harvest will start around next week, and it is running about 20% moisture. I would wait on Mother Nature to dry it down, but some wont.

My previous supplier said they HAD to do a leak check on my system or they couldn't sell me any propane. (Insurance reasons) Their fee to check for leaks was $50, but was FREE to new customers. I chastised them because they are putting a higher emphases on new customers instead of their loyal customers who have been with them for years. They wouldn't budge. If they do find a simple leak, they wouldn't fix it.
So I became a new customer to their competitor and got my system leak-checked for free. This supplier also said that if they had to check for system for leaks again, they would do it for free again. My previous supplier just lost a customer.

Local double circle coop and F/S coop seem to be the only 2 suppliers in this area. 1.24 from FS, $1.22 from the local Double circle coop. I been buying it offa F/S for 34 years, for only 2? difference, guess I'll continue to get it from F/S.
