Tractor is a Massey 1080. But it is more of a generalized question.
Noticed today that we were getting some coolant sprayed in a circle inside the engine compartment of our Massey 1080. It is in a line about an inch behind the fan blades. I can�t figurenout where the leak is coming from. I don�t see any obvious holes in the hoses. Though they are all pretty old. No apparent damage to the radiator. There are no obvious leaks when the tractor is not running. Just evidence from the coolant spraying off the fan blades.
One thing I noticed while running was that the fan pulley seemed to have a little wobble to it. When the tractor was stopped the fan and pulley had a fair amount of play. Is the pulley mount on the water pump a possible source of the leak or is that not a component of the water pump that contains coolant?
