You just can't take an ecm out of one truck and install it in yours,unless you find an EXACT twin to your truck. They are programmed for how your truck is spec'd. which engine,what transmission,manual or auto, which emmission contols,49 states or Ca emmissios,what rear axle ratio, hyd brakes or air brakes,a/c abs brakes or not...the list goes on
