In crop meetings around here years ago the guy used to drink a glass with roundup water in it. He died as old and bitter as if he never had consumed it. Of course, that was back when guys used diesel in their sprayer as a crop oil.
There won�t be any issues with feeding it. 24D is nasty, Roundup I wouldn�t worry about. I haven�t done it, but I know of several guys that have sprayed roundup on wheat ready to cut to have less trouble cutting and then baling straw as well.
I have RR alfalfa but I can�t recall what the recommendation is for holdout. Sure it killed the weeds between the bales - it is a contact herbicide. There was nothing growing in those bales so it was wasted. Now, something to consider is his crop oil or if he heated it up with anything. Some of those things I wouldn�t want to ingest. And some leave a very bad taste in your mouth. Don�t ask me how I know.
