I converted most of mine years ago!!! Have 3 that are still 6 volt but not for long!!! Last Group 1 6 volt battery cost over $100 and most like said don�t last over 2 years!!! Once I convert them I can use those cheaper irrigation batteries that cost about 1/2 of those group 1 6 volt!!! I convert them to alternators but keep and label the take off generators and regulators!!! Nobody in town can or will even test a generator anymore!!!! I know, first thing �certain� people point out is �that didn�t come out with an alternator� and no they didn�t but there are tractors (not mine) there that didn�t come out with $2000-$3000++ base coat-clear paint jobs either!!!!
