You are right about jacking prices and inflating trade in prices. I recently bought a new car. Dealer asked what I was trading in. I told him no trade in. It's live giving your car away when you trade it in.

I went Indy and bought a new luxury XT5 for less than I could buy a base model Buick enclave locally. Some dealers want to deal. And you are right about jacking up prices.
