Had a friend call me up just after he purchased his first chainsaw and he wanted to know any tips or tricks I could share with him.
I told him always fill the oil tank before the gas tank.
He asked me why.
I told him that when you overfill the oil and get it all over the side of the saw it will get rinsed off when you overfill the gas and get it all over the side of the saw.
That's rubbish he said and he was sure he would not have a problem filling it properly.
Talked to him a week later after he had a chance to use the saw he was laughing and said dang you were right even with my glasses on I could not stop the pour in time.
