Thank you very much for the diagram. If I were to do it your way with a 12 volt charging system , I would assume that I would have to use a 12/24 parallel switch. Can you show a diagram for that?
If the 24 volt ground system is more dangerous, then I will take the 24 volt alternator back and get a 12 volt alternator and go with the 12 - 24 parallel switch if you can show me how to wire it and recommend a switch to get.
