It depends on what your mix of pullers is. If you have mostly stock guys they won't care if the track gets a little beat up and gets hills in it. If you want to cater to the guys that have spent real money to get more power out of their tractors so that they will be sure to win, you want a good hard clay track. A softer track keeps the guys with more power from being able to get their power to the ground. The stock guys won't be made to look foolish and they will be more likely to come back next year.
