Well just as long as everything is ship shape. Had a big fiasco with a clump of tree root in my line to the tank several years ago. Silver maple a good 40 feet away from the line. What i did was go on Ebay and bougbt several pounds of copper sulfate and sprinkle a nice pretty blue layer of crystals along the pipe. Will kill any roots. Actually that might be something you could get. Pick up a bottle of root killer at the store and follow directions. A tiny bit now and then down the drain should keep any roots out. Mostly copper sulfate in product. Works wonders on farm ponds and roof shingles in the shade. Kills all of the green molds and moss that grows.
