I know there has been forums about this, but am unable to post to it, Anyway... Just wondering if anyone has anymore info on some of these Springfield tractors. I just bought one at an auction It's a Springfield 66LT-525. From that model, I'm guessing it's a 1966 and supposed to have a 25 inch mowing deck (Missing). I don't really know anything else, except it has a 5HP Tecumseh, and from the little reading, found it could be original? It's a neat tractor, and I like the steering, which is handle bar type instead of a steering wheel!!! I plan on rebuilding the engine (currently not running), and restoring the tractor, but I would like to get as much info, and possibly a manual of some sort, so I can get it as accurate as possible. Thank you all for your time!!! (There should be a pic along with this post) Ben

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
