I have an old new Holland grass land manual that’ has a copyright date of 1962 it must be a first edition because that’s the only copyright date in it . It has a lot of good information in it . That twisted windrow can help especially if the hay gets way to dry for whatever reason or it’s a real thin crop . As far as raking the same direction that’ has its reasons to but it’s impossible when your double raking when you cut with a sickle mower or only raking one windrow it can be done
