I have an old new Holland grass land manual that� has a copyright date of 1962 it must be a first edition because that�s the only copyright date in it . It has a lot of good information in it . That twisted windrow can help especially if the hay gets way to dry for whatever reason or it�s a real thin crop . As far as raking the same direction that� has its reasons to but it�s impossible when your double raking when you cut with a sickle mower or only raking one windrow it can be done
