Over the last 10 years or so I have purchased new a zero turn, push mower, 2 chainsaws, walk behind string trimmer, tiller and just this month a new boat. The boat has a 90 HP 4 stroke fuel injected engine. All of the engine manufacturers state that their engine will run on E10 but they HIGHLY recommend gas without booze in it. Guess who ain't running E anything in any of that stuff! The very last place I would ask for advice on E blended gas is here, a tractor site, where it's in some people's best personal interest to get you to buy gas with ethanol in it. And it is in the best interest of anyone growing corn as cash crop to get people to trust them and the EPA while trying to discredit mechanical engineers.
Local outdoor power equipment dealer loves E blended gas. According to him he gets a lot of business cleaning out fuel systems because of it. But he will be the first to tell you not to put any E gas into anything he sells you.
